Pilot-Operated Check Valves

Pilot operated check valves (PO Check Valves) are typically used to hold pressure in a cylinder in the event of a drop in pressure or a total loss of pressure. The pneumatic check valve locks air in the device until the pilot signal is energized, at which time the valve opens and air evacuates the cylinder. NGT pilot operated check valves are available in a variety of body configurations, with port sizes ranging from 1/8” to ¾” NPTF. BSPP ports are also available.

Options:

• Manual release buttons (extended length or flush buttons) to exhaust trapped air in cylinders prior to system maintenance
• Flow control, which meters air from the output to the input port to avoid crash landings or equipment crashes
• Available lower pilot pressure options enable trapped air to pilot pressure ratio of 4:1. For example, 80 psi trapped pressure can be released with as low as 20 psi pilot pressure
• Adjustable spring pressure, enabling the valve to close at a higher pilot pressure or before all the air exhausts, resulting in faster stops
• Stainless steel is available on certain models
